Tyler Montana Prescott serves as the Revenue Commissioner of Clarke County, Alabama. In this role, he serves as both the Tax Assessor and Tax Collector of his county. Prescott was elected to this position in 2020 and took office in 2021. Commissioner Prescott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of West Alabama, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Troy University, and a Juris Doctorate from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. In addition to his duties as Clarke County Revenue Commissioner and an officer of NACCTFO, Prescott is a licensed attorney and member of the Alabama State Bar. He is also a member of the Alabama Association of Tax Administrators, the Alabama Association of Assessing Officials, the International Association of Assessing Officials, and the County Revenue Officers Association of Alabama. He is involved in numerous civic organizations and serves on multiple boards and committees in his jurisdiction. Prescott is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with his rescue dogs and cats. |
